Does anyone have a link to the thread titled "so you want to do a detox". I can't remember the exact title.
I just spent 15 minutes trying to find it, I'm detoxed out!

They are a waste of time. They do not "kickstart, speed up, or help you lose weight in any permanent way. Your body has a natural detoxifying system that work just fine.

They are a fad right now--don't fall into the trap, you can damage yourself.

I think because CICO is such a simple concept some people feel the need to make it more complicated by doing things like detoxes in the misguided hope that it will do something 'miraculous'.

You have a liver and kidneys that "detox" your body.

If they are not working, you'd need more than some "detox" bought at a "health food shop" to fix it.
