I started counting macros but I don't know if I'm supposed to get the same numbers every time. I'm trying to play with this app and prepare my meals to get those exact macros but I'm having a a hard time. Today I passed my limit of protien and not my carbs is this okay?

Don't worry about balancing macros in a meal. Just try to hit your target for the day. And it's fine if you go under on carbohydrates. Just focus on getting sufficient protein and fat.1

Your diary isn't open, so I can's see your food or your macros, which means I can only offer generic guidance based on what I've found works for me. Try to get at or above your protein, at or near your fat, and let carbs be what they will be. Obviously, if you're doing a low carb diet, that's null and void.. Some folks play with the percentages too. I've found that 40c/30f/30p works for me. I don't need the carbs higher because I prefer fats, and the protein gives me around the (flawed) 1g/pound of lean body mass.0
