Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new and I would like to lose about 30 lbs. Fortunately, my husband thinks I'm perfect. But the weight has been slowing creeping up on me--mostly this winter as there was way too much stress and way too little time for exercise (mom passed away and dad moved in). Two years ago I was at the gym every day after work. Then there was elbow surgery. Then there was grad school. Then there was a neck problem (actually, it's still there but I can't let it stop me anymore)

I hit the gym today and I registered for the site.

I would love to lose as much as possible before school starts again (teacher). I live alone (married, still in love, but he works elsewhere) and when we're together we eat out all the time. Oh...and I'm a horrible cook.

  • Hiya! Well done for joining! I have to lose just a little more than you, your husb sounds lovely. I put on a lot this winter as well, it just kinda crept on gradually and i finally decided i have to stop this before i hit size UK18! Good luck with your loss, feel free to add me as friend!
