Boot camp groups and bulking up

I just started a boot camp group at my gym (3 days per week boot camp -45 min, 2 days spinning) and I'm getting pretty big up top (muscles). Is this temporary, meaning when the fat is gone will my arms/shoulders slim down? I'm not huge, but am curious

    Probably water retention. My trainer won't even consider my boot camp class as strength training - mainly its cardio with light weights. Nothing that would make one bulky.
