Hi everyone, I am hoping to get in shape. Last time I've hit the gym was 10 years ago. I've decided to get healthy and stay that way for years to come. I've just started my intermittent fasting. I'm on my 5th day. And working out 3x a week. Cardio on no gym days 2x a week. I'm in northern CA if you happen to live up here Holla!

    What protocol are you basing your intermittent fasting on? lean gains?-- that is 16-18 hr fast followed by 6-8 hr feeding windows. I like intermittent fasting but don't force yourself to do it if it's not working. I've definitely had times in my life where intermittent fasting ruined my energy levels and other times (with a different day-to-day life) where intermittent fasting was awesome and made things way easier.

    I didn't realized I starved to death :s on my day to day lifestyle jk. But I would fast for 12 hrs some days without even knowing I was fasting. So I researched intermittent fasting and saw a door to push it just a bit. Past few days I did 14 hrs. Today I pushed it 18hrs. But I'll modify if need to be. I work Monday through Friday so I have to adjust my eating times. I can do ok with just water and chewing gum lol. I drink about 3 _ 4 liters of water. So far I've seen results. But my goal is to be lean and stay around my weight even though the app says I'm overweight lol.
