What to expect now that Mirena is out??
After 6 months of cramps, spotting, lower back pain, emotional swings, and just generally living hell I got my Mirena IUD removed yesterday. I've already noticed some improvement though I am experiencing some lower back pain today still.
I'm wondering if those of you who've been through this can give me some indication of what to expect over the next few months. Also if you have any tips for helping my body bounce back that would be great too!
Thanks sisters!!

I hear ya!! I had to have my mirena surgically removed after it perforated my uterus and was floating in my abdomen. It is the devil!! I didn't notice any major issues post removal but I have heard of a few people having a bit of a hormone crash. I got pregnant only 3 months post removal so I guess that's an indication of how quickly you can bounce back to normal. Good luck hope you're feeling alright!0
