I have just done 30min of weight training with running on the spot in between for 60 steps so around 30 seconds between reps of 10.
I entered it into mfp and it only comes out at 80 calories. Would this be correct? How can i actually gage the calories im out sourcing while doing weights?

Most lifters don't count calories burned during lifting because they are hard to get accurate and are typically minimal. Sorry I know that's not the answer you are looking for.1

If I log exercise at all, it's in the cardio section. You can add the weights in there and it does calculate it.1 -
Sounds good to me for 30 minutes of exercise.1

You may log it as "strength training" or "circuit training". I usually log as strength training. But if my sessions are with lighter weights and done for time (cardio), I may log it as circuit training.1

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I will do that from now on as circuit training.0
