Bad ankle

Hi Mfp,
I had a fall over 5 weeks ago. And I have hurt my ankle I am walking but at a hop. I was just wandering what kind of exercises can I get doing as I am starting to gain the pounds.
I really want to get back to the gym but at the present time it seems impossible.
So I was wondering if any of you can give me some general tips to keep me going??

    You could just make sure you're eating at a calorie deficit. Control your weight gain by diet and let yourself heal.

    Thank you. I think you maybe right and all I can really do at the moment. Time to heal and rest.

    Swimming front-crawl with a pull-buoy between your legs is a great way to maintain fitness during recovery from lower limb injuries.

    any of the chair exercises. Sitting bicep and tricep curls.
