Back on the wagon

Well, I'm back on the wagon again. About 3 years ago I was injured on the job and taken off my feet for a good while. End result, I rocketed up to 365#s. November before last, I went to a live in pain clinic to get me more mobile, and it worked! I went from 365 to 250 in 8 months of diet, exercise, and being more physically active. Fast forward to today. After my injury, I got a divorce, and started drinking again. Met a new gal (fixing to be married in June) and was given a great opportunity to be retrained at a local community college, which means less time to work out, less time overall really, and having to be more sedentary. I'm now at 275.

Due to my injury, I can't workout like many people are able to, what might be an hour workout for most is a 3-4 hour endeavor for me. I just don't have the physical capacity for endurance, it does more harm than good in my case. So, I'm having to re-examine my lifestyle, again.

I quit drinking again last week. It's going well. I don't care for sweets, so soda or candy isn't an issue for me. Now I've completely cut dairy, and sugars/starches except for soaked oatmeal at breakfast with a teaspoon of honey. Besides that it's all animal protein and vegetables, and 10-15 minutes of tai chi a few times a day.

Any advice would be appreciated.
