I have been following a consistent workout schedule for the past 5 months now. I have lost 17.5" off my body which I am thrilled about however my weight just will not budge. I do watch what I eat and eat aboard 80% clean diet. I just don't get it. Ideas are welcome!

Inch loss is excellent progress

To lose weight you have to eat at deficit which means accurately tracking your food. If you're not losing weight or gaining you are eating at maintenance.

Are you doing a weight training program along with your weight loss? You could be doing more of a recomp than a straight weight loss. Recomp is where you just put on muscle to replace the weight but I doubt you've gained 17 1/2 lbs of muscle in 5 months. Some of that may be water retention also. Your muscles will hold onto water to facilitate repair which would account for some of the missing weight loss on the scale. Inches lost is as good as, if not better, than overall weight loss. It just means that your body is changing. Also, how are you measuring? Are you sure it's accurate?

What do you do for exercise? Do you drink plenty of water? Are you eating at a calorie deficit?

Is there supposed to be a problem? Body composition is way more important than weight. If your size measurements are heading in the right direction, you're doing something right...just keep doing it!
