My name is James. I am 5 foot 7 and I weigh 330 lbs. I have health issues that keep me from getting the exercise that I know I need. I am also lazy, however, I am trying to change the laziness. Once I lose the weight, the health issues will lessen and I will be more able to get the exercise I need. It is hard for me to get the motivation I need to get myself going. It was easier for me to quit smoking than it is to get out and walk. My biggest problem with eating is portion control. I grew up with "you have to eat everything on your plate" and "If you take it, you better eat it." I have to re-think my way of eating. It is a battle because I love to eat but it is one that will benefit me in the long run. I appreciate any advice and encouragement I will receive from people who are on the same journey as me.
