What about smoothie cleanses? Just kidding.

I hear it targets ankle fat.

Specifically the left ankle though. The right is a totally different cleanse. That's the juice cleanse.

Green tea contains catechins, which is a proven fat burner and carb blocker. If you Google "green tea catechins journal," you will see many peer-reviewed studies in medical journals that prove that. However, there's a couple of caveats. The amount of green tea you would need to drink is a fair amount. Some suggest 5 to 6 cups a day, others suggest more. Also, it has to be a good quality tea. There are green tea supplements you can get, but again, you have to be sure it is of good quality. The amount of catechins needed is around 700 mg I believe... You can look at the journal abstracts to get a better idea. If you choose to go the tea drinking route, organic is your best option and it must be drunk plain. If you're a regular coffee drinker and add cream and sugar, even cream or stevia or just cream, and drink a few cups a day, you're easily cutting out 100-300 calories a day, depending on how much you add to your coffee.

I found this today, hope to try it, I'll throw in some green tea, a juice cleanse and a smoothie cleanse just to cover all my body parts.

I should add that it doesn't target belly fat in particular.

    Kindly post those studies. TIA
