Hula hoop.....

I was thinking about starting to do hula hooping and was wondering when you add this for exercise, what would you put it under? Would it be aerobics? Thanks for any info....

    I googled it and added it as one of my own exercises :) (I have a weighed hula hoop at home- I look ridiculous using it since i have to hula much harder but it's fun and effective!)

    I would probably use belly dancing or one of the other dancing options. Aerobics would work too, but it's not quite the same. I think belly dancing is the closest.

    Log it under cardio as whatever you want...just create a custom workout and call it Hula Hoop, or The One Ring To Rule Them All...or anything else for that matter.

  • There is something called hoopdancing cardio. I've been hooping for 4 years and it is really great exercise and fun.
