Sounds good. Stick to it. This place works.
Get a food scale to make this place awesome.
walmart, target, bbbeyond all have food scales. About $20.
Don't give up !!!

MFP allows me 1200 calories. I am 5'11 and 203 lbs. At first I was loosing weight pretty well. I have lost about 28lbs since January. My weight loss has slowed down now and I don't know what direction to go in. I eat clean, weigh my food, exercise at least 1 hour a day and drink a gallon of water daily. At first I didn't eat my exercise calories back but I almost passed out a couple of time during my workout. On average my goal is to burn 500 calories minimum for exercise. Does that mean I should eat 1700 calories a day? Eventually I am going to figure this out.0

One thing I noticed looking at your diary is that you are using measuring cups, not a food scale. My progress really sped up when I began weighing my food. It's possible that you are eating more than you think you are.0 -
I use a food scale too. I use both depending on what I am eating.0

At 21stone 10(314lbs) I'm sure mfp would have given you more to eat, when you're use to eating a lot going from a big amount of calories to what you are eating may cause you after a while to feel hungry and cause a binge, as you lose weight the calorie amount will go down anyway, so eat what mfp gives you trust the system and don't restrict too much good luck I your journey, using myself as an example I started off with over 2000 calories now I get 1290 for 1b loss.1 -
I would be eating more at your weight too.. I was 15 stone 8 at my largest and I started at 1800 cals per day. I know if you type in a big loss per week on MFP they tend you give you lower calories as a goal.. but I would see a good 1-2lb loss per week on the higher amount..0
