Hey folks. I coums use some advice on how to over come weekend snacking junk food. I do so well during the week lots of fresh fruit and veggies. But the weekend is a whole other story. I find the weekends a whole other story. I crave junk food on the weekends.Usually end up breaking down and going out to get something, since I do not keep such food in my house. Even while I'm writing this all I want is a ginger ale. Anyone else have or had this problem and have any tips. Thank you for listening and for your help!!

Eat 100 calories less each weekday, then you'll have 500 extra calories to splurge on the weekend.

Yep -- weekends can be hard -- no set schedule, etc. The things that help me are to exercise first thing in the morning (I feel better when I exercise) and then eat my regular meals on time so that I don't get too hungry and reach for high calorie foods that cause me to exceed my calorie macro. Also I don't keep junk food (binge type food) in the house, because too hard to resist on the weekends. Hope this helps. Also I plan fun activities so I don't just "sit around."

I stay pretty busy during the weekend, so not a lot of time to think about actually eating food out of boredom. We also eat just two meals on the weekend: a large brunch and regular dinner. Generally, we are so full from brunch, we do not want to snack.
