Hello @tmax6988 For men the minimum calories per day we have to take is between 1500 - 1800 once you update the calender of your day calories and your weight it will show according to the goal.0

Other websites will include exercise in your calorie goal for weight loss.
MFP does not.
Your choices are:
Use another calculator (like Scooby's Accurate Calorie Calculator or IIFYM Calculator) to come up with a constant calorie goal that you aim for everyday. Adjust up or down based on actual results after a few weeks.
Let MFP set your calorie goal. Plug in your stats with an activity level that DOES NOT include exercise. MFP will give you a NET goal. Eat that goal when you don't exercise. When you do exercise eat that goal + 50% of your exercise calorie burns. Adjust amount of exercise calories up or down based on actual results after a few weeks.

Both methods, when set to approximately the same deficit, will have you averaging around the same number of calories in. The difference is with MFP you have high/low days and the other method (TDEE) you get a constant goal to eat at no matter what.
Remember that all online calculators are estimates. You will need to pick a method to follow and stick with it for 3-4 weeks at least and then adjust up or down if needed based on your results.2 -

This.
With a goal of losing 30-50 lbs, a healthy, sustainable weekly loss goal would be 1 lb/week. Enter that into MFP and it will give yo daily calories to consume that will get you to your goal.0
