Calories given for steps

Do you think these are accurate? My iPhone tracks my steps, I had 14,000 today. I went on two long walks. I never eat my exercise calories, just curious if it's an accurate burn for others.

How many calories is it giving you, and what is your height/weight?

My phone has a step counter also, but the calories seem a bit high to me. This morning I walked to the shops and back, around 9000 steps, and it came up with 300 calories. I weigh 61kg. I ended up making a custom exercise entry for steps that gives me around 150 calories per 10000 steps.
