Hi there ! I was hoping I could find some suggestions for core exercises I can do while healing from a torn rotator cuff. Thanks in advance!

If you feel you can balance oKay walking lunges, bodyweight squats will help.1

How far along are you? Crawling exercises are great to strengthen both.

How far into recovery are you? Did you have surgery or just rehab? I'm 8 weeks out from RC surgery. I can handle forearm and elbow planks. Glute bridges, leg raises, sit-ups, bicycle crunches are decent armless exercises.1

I am starting my 2nd week of recovery and have been advised to rest my arm and not do any pulling , pushing or lifting with it. Luckily I didn't need surgery, just doing rehab.

Try the Hello Dolly. I've also seen them called scissors. You can also raise and lower your legs to just barely above the floor between each rep.
This guy is annoying but here is an example (I use much lower than a 45 degree angle myself as it seems to me it gets easier the more you raise your legs):https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5xZB1KlF83Y
