Is it okay to take more food during exams?

OK in what sense? It's your decision whether having the energy to do well on your exams is more important than hitting some particular calorie deficit number.
If you mean "will my body just ignore the fact that I'm scarfing down whole pizzas and six-pack of energy drinks while I pull an all-nighter studying," then no. Unless you actually are using more energy, consuming more calories will cut into your deficit or, if you eat enough, put you in a surplus.
More generally, if you are eating so little that you don't have enough energy to study, you're doing this wrong.0
