Can someone offer advice please

Hi all, I have tried this mfp for a few weeks now but not getting anywhere. Am I overlooking something? Lol. I have been concentrating more on calorie intake alone, but when I have read through a few blogs there I seen other factors mentioned. Can someone advise me on what I should be monitoring including calories please

    There's really nothing more to it than calories in - calories out. Do you weigh everything you eat/drink on an electronic kitchen scale? Do you double check entries before you log? Do you have cheat days?

    Calorie intake means weighing and measuring everything you eat and drink. Do you have a digital scale? If you are doing that then your calorie intake is too high. You don't give much information so we can only tell you where most people slip up.

    Weigh everything to the gram/measure everything to the ML, don't use generic entries such as '1 banana' or '1 jacket potato' because they're usually way off, be aware that exercise calories given are usually way over what they actually are.

    And be patient. The weight didn't come on in a few weeks. It's not going to leave in a few weeks.
