I haven't drank Pepsi in a while anyways, too sweet for my taste. Regardless, even if I did drink it, I can't say this news would stop me. It certainly won't stop me from drinking coke. In the whole scheme of things, concern about soda flavor research methods is probably pretty low on most people's priority list. Besides, I'm pretty sure the cells were not taken specifically for the purpose of soda flavor research. If Senomyx is using those cells for other purposes anyways, well, why let anything go to waste?0

Lack of fetal complaints cannot be interpreted as consent. I imagine that the rate of fetal suicide is quite low, so it is implied that they would prefer a future that entails being delivered as a baby rather than becoming a food additive or chilling out in a Petri dish0 -
This is all hypothetical given Snopes has shown report to be false anyway.
However I have no issue with cadaver cells or aborted foetal cells being used for medical research purposes.(issues with abortion itself are a separate issue)
