Wake Up Call

On Feb 2, 2016 i got on the scale and looked down at the number and I had hit 292 lbs. That got me to thinking and I realized that as a 55 yr old man (turned 56 on March 9th) I was heading towards an early grave. It was hard to get up from the easy chairs, tough to take care of personal business not to mention high blood pressure, diabetes which was taking a toll on my body. So I decided at that time getting in shape and losing weight needs to be my top priority. Since that day I have changed my entire diet, low carb, low calorie, high protein, only natural sugar and no more processed food. I drink herbal tea, water and that is about it and two weeks ago I joined a fitness club and as of today I have lost 39 lbs and I feel great. I am no longer taking my diabetes medicine and my blood pressure has leveled out and I also have energy to do a lot more. I was using livestrong plate app but last week it was recommended by my health insurance to use and so I have made the switch and thought I would introduce myself and yes I would love to have fitness friends.
