Fitness goals?

Curious to hear what people's fitness goals are, especially away from weight loss. Do you have any specific physical goals? How are you working towards attaining them? How often do you practice or train towards these goals? Motivation?

My current goal is to reach a 900 total before the end of the year in a powerlifting competition. That's the total of the squat, bench press, and deadlift combined, and would be an 80lb increase from my last competition.
Edited to add that I train 4 days a week.2 -
When I originally got close to my weight loss goal, I decided I wanted to complete a triathlon. That was my first fitness goal that I trained for. After the first one, my goals were to better my time. That was my main fitness goal. I have also had goals of running a mile straight, or bench pressing over 100#. The goal I have started working on now is to swim a mile without stopping, in a pool, not open water.1

My fitness goals aren't weight loss related. I've been at the same weight all my life and just wanted to build strength, get fitter and look better as I enter middle age.
Current goals:
- Deadlift my bodyweight (nearly there) - weight training twice a week
- One unassisted pull up - doing banded pull-ups at the moment, twice a week
- Run 10k (signed up for one in a month) run 2-3 times a week, started on c25k now running 7-8 km per run
I also have aesthetic goals which are a bit more general:
- Lift and firm my butt
- See definition in my arms and shoulders
I'm hoping when I meet my physical goals my aesthetic goals will happen naturally- which will be the motivation to set my next goals!1 -
I'm a cycling enthusiast and I participate in various cycling events. For the last couple of years I've been doing primarily endurance rides but I'm switching gears this summer and doing some time trials and probably one or two endurance rides. I cycle pretty much 5x per week.
Mon: 60 minute recovery ride AM/Lift PM
Tues: Hills 60 minutes
Wed: 30 minute time trial AM/Lift PM
Thurs: 60 minute interval ride
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Easy ride to gym to lift and ride home
Sunday: Long ride unless I have other obligations to tend to.1 -
Thank you for adding. It's very inspiring to read these.
I'll add mine:
I'd like to hold a handstand for more than 10 seconds
I'd like to do a better butterfly kick
I'd like to do a back walkover
I'd like to improve front handspring and headflip
I'd like to learn macaco back handspring
Working towards someday getting aerial cartwheel (hopefully before I'm 50)
I am currently learning shaolin kung fu and just started learning chinese wushu in my 40's. It's really late in the game, but I'm determined to do my best to learn what my body is able to do. I have class 3x a week and sometimes attend a beginning acrobatics class to help me with these goals. I try to practice martial arts at least 30-60 minutes a day on my own. It's not much, but better than nothing esp with a working person's schedule There are times I get discouraged, but also times I feel super inspired and like I have made progress.
