when u gain 6lbs in a day

I left weighing 173 n when i got back home i weighed 179! It was my cheat day Saturday but gosh is that even possible?

    Sure it's possible. When you weigh yourself later in the day you're also weighing all of the food and water you've put into your system during the day. Plus, after a heavy workout your muscles are likely to be holding onto extra water to cushion and repair them. When you stepped on the scale after the gym you might as well have been holding a pitcher of water in your hands.

    For the most accurate results, you need to weigh yourself under similar conditions. First thing in the morning, before breakfast and after a trip to the bathroom is usually best.

    Yes, your weight fluctuates a lot throughout the day. That's why it's a good idea to pick a consistent time of day to weigh yourself.
