Started this healthy eating journey about four years ago and have done well however as of late I've been dealing with some things and gotten out of focus. Just need to stay on it!!

It happens to everyone! Sounds like you are motivated. Get your head in the game, you can do this!

ROI....You have invested time, good food, good choices. You stand to waste the return on that investment. The only person who truly knows what that return is or feels like, is you. Life is all about risk/reward. You've been able to balance that act this long, you've built a good foundation, you owe it to yourself to continue through thick and thin. It's not always easy, but you can overcome the hurdles if it's important enough to you.

Im struggling too. I do so well and then i just seem to lack the motivation to continue after seeing good results. Any pointers?

Lack of motivation or lack of energy? For myself it can be a struggle differentiating between the two. It's when I really have to be honest with myself because that lack of energy is usually a sign (for me) that I'm not eating right. In those instances, my go to is raw spinach. It is one of the few foods where I actually feel the boost within 10 minutes. If it's simply motivation, I tend to force myself to workout and then workout harder. The more invested I am in the process, the more addicted I am to keeping it going.

As an engineer. . I like numbers and I like data. . So if you're like me, you can do what I did. I got a fitbit, then made a spreadsheet with the goal to see how accurate the fitbit is. . The only way to do this is to meticulously track my food and my weight. .It has been a real motivator for me! . If I miss a lot of tracking or leave anything out . . it throws all my calculations off!.
