Do You Want to Be A Success Storie? Whats stopping you?

Hi
I am one of hundreds of you who want to be a success story. The problem is like so many others I have lost and gained back over and over. So I am looking back on what I have done in the past that's worked and what did not. I believe that it is within all our reach to be the next success story. How?The things that I need to be successful at losing is:
1. A Great Support group(I have none)
2. The right eating plan that works for me. (We know that not all diets are for everyone). It has to be a way of life that I can live with.
3. I Need to stay focused on my goals and see that finish line in the future and know I will reach it.
4. I need to set a time line that is real and stay within it.
5. Learn to put myself first and add exercise
When?
I started Wednesday How about you?

I started several months ago but really have only dabbled because luckily I didn't have that much to lose but here are my challenges and road to success....

    1) exercise! it is important to keep moving if I'm moving I'm not eating
    2) listen to my body instead of my head... my head wants pizza, my head wants broiled chicken breasts
    3) remember to smell the roses... I know it is a cliché but what it means to me is to not get bogged down on the little stuff....
    4) meet each day with a smile and an open heart. When its been broken too often it tends not to be open
    5) be kind

my mantra can't say I live it every day but I try every day and get some of it done ;-):flowerforyou:

I like your list. I just joined last week and have found that moving is the key for me . I've walk everyday for the last 3 days and feel better already.

    So, here is my list:
    1. Exercise! It helps physically, and mentally.
    2. Look in the mirror or at a recent picture. Face reality. Then move forward.
    3. Be thankful! Everyone has problems, but we need to find the positive. :flowerforyou:
    4. Find a support group. It makes things so much easier to continue and harder to give up.
    5. Let go of the old baggage - it just weighs you down. :noway:

If you would like to add me as friend I would love for you to add me.
