Hello Everyone, after doing so well for a few weeks I then had to cope with massive emotional upheaval and slipped back into old bad habits. Now, I am not making excuses for myself I know I have been very foolish. However, after giving myself a good talking too I am today starting afresh. My question is, as I need to start again how can I delete my past food and weight diary and start again. Also does anyone need to start again like me, maybe we could support each other.

Personally, I would keep the old entries as a reminder of where you ended up and as a motivation to reach that place (or better) again. We're human and as such only imperfect creatures. Trying to erase past mistakes sadly doesn't work. Learn from those mistakes and keep the scars as a badge of honor. Imagine how good it will feel when you again reach, or even drop, below what you achieved the last time?

This being said, you can reset the weight under http://www.myfitnesspal.com/measurements/check_in and choosing the 'edit previous entries' at the bottom of the table. Not sure on where it is on the app. For the food journals I can't help.

Best of luck to you

No idea on how to reset the food entries that have been put in, but I am in the same boat as you are. Starting again.. this is actually my.... 4th or 5th attempt at this, and so far it's going well. Lasted longer than all my other attempts (and yes I know I've only been here 4 days lol)
I have tons of weight to lose so, if you like we can support each other! :) Add me if you like. And good luck! You can do it!
