I started my weight loss journey 4/14 I started working out and will be working out 5 days a week for 1-1 1/2hr a day, mostly cardio and some weights. I have been doing fine with 1,200 cals as lightly active, just want to make sure am eating enough calories so my body won't go in starvation mode.
Thank you in advance

you are in luck since starvation mode doesn't exist.

As for you activity level it shouldn't include exercise.

1200 calories is bare minimum for an adult woman make sure you are getting your nutrition in and eating back exercise calories.

I'd set your activity level to sedentary and then log your exercise

Set it to sedentary. Active and lightly active is for people who are always on the move outside of purposeful exercise, like servers, waiters, etc.

I take 10-12k steps a day but outside of that, I don't do much so I set MFP to sedentary and let my Fitbit do the work.
