Ok question: I weigh less than I did last year, but I'm wearing a bigger size. Is it because I'm gaining muscle? I walk 7 miles a day on an elliptical or through the neighborhood but I do Total Gym also. I have become pretty defined, muscle-wise. I'm frustrated.
I don't have any suggestions. I am here to help though.

You can easily loose weight and gain muscle in a year so your proportions are different but you're overall weight is less. What are you wearing a bigger size in, tops or bottoms? Is the bigger size in the waist, chest, legs, arms or neck? I weight less than I did last year too but my shirt sizes are bigger and my waist size in paints are smaller but I have to get athletic cut pants now so I don't have to buy pants that are too big in the waist to fit my but and thighs.0 -
Tops are same I wear small but pants are bigger or I quess the size I wear is tighter around thighs and hips but small at waist some shirts tighter around my arms , I have become more defined then I was this time last year because I started total gym about this time last year I do 75 reps on all my different exercises on elliptical and I do it every other day but the other day I do arm exercises with 5 lb weight0

It sounds like you're doing an amazing job bulking up, in a good way. I get what you're saying, especially with the smaller in the waist, tighter on the thighs (I love the elliptical too). I know, it's not the change you were expecting, huh? I have a couple of questions for you. What was your goal when you started your journey? How do you feel overall?0

I know I have a hard time finding jeans when my legs are more muscular.

My goal was to get to get to my ideal weight of 125 which I still haven't reached , I feel great , super energetic!!! Bulking up wasn't in my plan but once I started doing total gym and seeing my muscles starting to get defined was addicted but I don't want to really get much more bulky. So I'm not sure if I need to reduce my reps or how many days a week I do total gym0
