Low Carbs and Water Weight - where does the water go?

Hi, I'm part way through a two week test for carbohydrate sensitivity and am learning a lot about my metabolism. I know the initial weight loss is down to water (glycogen depletion means loss of associated water).
My question is though....where does the water go? Is it reabsorbed by the body? Does it disappear when we go to the bathroom?

Respiration (when you exhale, there's some water you breathe out - this is why you can see your breath when it's freezing outside), transpiration (sweating) and pee. That's why if you weigh yourself before you go to bed and then after you wake up in the morning, the scale usually drops a pound or two.1
