Calculating Macro's

Hi all I am just starting to look into macro counting and wondered if anyone could shed any light on how I find out what I need and how I calculate them. Many thanks Jenny

    sorry new to the site how does mfp do it do I just enter what I am eating?

    you are using the website, not the app, right?
    click on my home->
    click on goals->
    click on "Would you like help setting up your goals? View Guided Setup"

    this will walk you through the process. It will set up your goals for you. Then, you can click on "food" and start entering what you've eaten. :)

    If you follow the MFP and find out your calories, your macros will be automatically counted and your recommended amount will be at the bottom next to your calorie amount in your food diary. If you wish you follow a set amount of macros because you are doing a specific diet like low carb, or low fat etc then you can physically go into MFP macro section and change the percentages to what number you want to follow.
