I was in middle school. My older brother made fun of me constantly in front of others about my "man-titties." One day I got sick of it and promised him that I would get in shape and kick his *kitten*. About a year later I accomplished my fitness goals and proceeded to kick his *kitten*. thanks for the motivation bro :)

Since then it's been mostly bulking/ cutting cycles but no significant weight loss.

I'm back to shedding the pounds again... but the first time I did was very simple really.. I calorie counted. Started at a modest amount and decreased slowly as I lost weight. 1 hour walk a day was all I needed to consistently lose 2lb a week. Until I was about 20lb away from my goal weight I didn't do any other exercise at all. But of course I started to slow down majorly and wanted to tone up. By that point, I had so much energy and enthusiasm I wanted to do more exercise. I lost about 80lb in total over about a year

i was 320 lbs 18 months ago , diagnosed with high blood pressure , under meds, started doing Focus T25 and lost 60 lbs in 6 months to 260 lbs, lost job and gained all the weight back and 10 extra lbs to 330 lbs, started working again and i started back on my weight loss 2 weeks ago, started walking and eating right under MFP, hope to get down to 190 - 200 lbs in the next 15 months or so. once i loose some more weight , say 30m -40 lbs i will change my workout to something more harder like body beast or P-90 X3

I came to terms, about midway through summer, that I will crash and burn if I go too strict, even though I still have quite a bit to lose. So, I'm choosing to eat more and lose slower. Quite slowly. I still eat everything I like.

I don't beat myself up if I have a bad day, or even a bad week. I just move on.

My training consists of anywhere between 2-4 practice sessions on the ice per week and the Jillian Michaels Beginner Shred two or three times a week. But I train on the ice because I love it and I do the DVD because it will help with the skating, no other reason.
