I wonder why I lost the weight

After losing weight really slowly for 6 weeks it has sped up recently. I don't know if this is because I have increased the amount I eat but still in deficit), increased my exercise (walked 30 miles this week) or post period whoosh.

It might be all three I guess but not sure if I should continue the increase in calories. What do you think?

Eating more calories will not increase the rate you lose weight. It doesn't work that way. It could be anything else, but not that.

Its likely you got a whoosh after your TOM, the increased exercise means you are creating more of a deficit so you lose.
How much more are you eating? Eating more does not usually equate weight loss. Eating at deficit = weight loss.

Thanks, not increased that much just a 300-500 Cals per week, I think. I have read posts that say increasing calories can break a plateau.

But I am inclined to think it is a whoosh, which probably means I am gonna slow down now.
