I can pretty much run a 5k in around 24-26 minutes if i put my mind to it and if i fill up to it but i have never tried to do anything over 5k. I want to start pushing myself when i go running to give myself some more motivation so my goal is to run 10k in under an hour to start with and then ill improve from there.
Does anyone know of any decent programs i can follow to reach this goal?
Cheers

It's very dependent on what you want. I tried the B210K plan but didn't really like it so went onto an Endomondo driven plan.
B210K is similar to C25K in structure, three sessions per week, interval based and a similar duration.
The endomondo plan that I used had me doing a long run at the weekend with different durations and paces in the week. I was running 15km before I raced 10K.
Hal Higdon plans get a lot of good support, although I've never used them myself.
