Hello everyone!
I need some help... I have somehow reached the grand old age of 23 before discovering how great nut butters are! Although I dont like peanut butter, I have discovered a love of cashew butter. However, my lack of experience means that I dont yet know the best way to eat it... so what do you guys prefer? What is the best way to eat nut butter?

Peanut butter sandwiches are one of life's simple pleasures (never had cashew). I also like peanut butter on my toast and in my oatmeal. It makes for a great dip for apples as well.0

Directions for eating any kind of nut butter/cookie butter:
You'll need a food scale for this.
1. Place your food scale on a counter.
2. Remove lid of jar.
3. Place open jar on scale.
4. Turn on scale.
5. Make sure the unit of measure is in grams on scale.
6. Find a spoon.
7. Dip said spoon in jar.
8. Dig for yummy smooth or crunchy treasure.
9. Bring the deliciousness to your waiting mouth.
10. Enjoy.
11. Glance at the scale to see how many grams that most likely little bit cost you.
12. Be sad.
13. Eat your feelings in more nut/cookie butter.
14. Log it.
15. Don't really be sad because that was some damned good nut/cookie butter.
(Forgive the control freakishness of this post.)

My family likes to dip apple slices in nut butters. For a healthier version go for a tart apple with a natural nut butter with no sugar added (all measured of course).0

My favorite combos are:
Green apple (Granny Smith) or orange + peanut butter
Pear + cashew or almond butter
Greek yogurt + cashew or almond or hazelnut butter + maple syrup/honey
Pancakes + hazelnut butter + maple syrup
Smoothie: Whole milk + frozen banana slices + hazelnut/peanut butter + cocoa0
