Flatout + 21 Day Fix

Does anyone know what the container count would be for the Flatout Protein Up flatbread would be?

I don't know, but you could weigh it on a food scale and get the exact calorie and macronutrient information from the label and log it into MFP.

Yes, I'm doing that now, but I'm starting a program next week and will be using the containers. I'll still be logging my food, but of all the nutrition plans I've followed, I like the container method and have had success with it. Thanks though!

I'd count it as a yellow.

@sarahkollergetsfit no red at all? I was thinking maybe half a yellow, half a red? I wish I knew what the protocol was for classifying foods into containers! Would make it so much easier.

I'll likely count it as a yellow anyway... A little extra protein is good, but extra carbs are not!

I think you could do half and half. stuff like that is really up to your judgement call

21 Day Fix is kind of a copy of the old Weight Watchers exchanges. Each WW exchange had a general number of calories.

So get an average estimate of your (starch) container calories by logging a few items into MFP. Then compare your Flat Out to the container (it's a starch). Example (total guess) if your container is 100 calories and your Flat Out is 150....then it's 1.5 containers.

So use My Fitness Pal (portions) to give 21 Day Fix some flexibility. For me, I would just use MFP because it's most flexible of all.
