    I dated a girl once from the Philippines and ever since then I have wanted to visit there. But that doesn't exactly count as "based in the Philippines" :-)

    Filipino but born and raised in the states. However I was raised the Filipino way and have family in Laguna. Last time I was there was January 2010. Want to visit again.
