I been wondering what my calorie goal should be when im 5'1in height and 208.2 in weight... I wanna lose 1.5 pounds a week.. Any suggestions on exercise.. Any suggestions at all...

    MyFitnessPal automatically tells you what your calorie goal is if you have put your stats in correctly. The protein, fat and carb goals my not be appropriate for you, but I would only worry about the calorie part initially as you are learning.

    Exercise isn't really for fat loss. Exercise provides extra calories, but we do it to improve our health. Initially you should find an exercise you enjoy and will stick to. That way you look forward to doing it. You can expand to other things later to help you reach more specific goals.

    If you set up the app it will tell you ..btw his name is luke. Try clean eating you will loose weight after your first week u wont even want that greesy pizza lol

    Umm....use MyFitnessPal? You know, put in that your a 5'1" female who weighs 208.2 lbs and wants to lose 1.5 lbs a week?

    I don't understand how people find their way to this site and dive right into the forums without inputting their stats. When I signed up, you had to do that right away, before you could get anywhere. Did they change that?

    You'll have an easy time of making some adjustments to lose 1.5 pounds a week. When you first created your user ID with this site, you told the site your goals and your size. It tells you what your calorie goal is to meet your goal. It works! Try to get several servings of vegetables each day. Protein is your friend. Fat, real whole fat, is good. You'll need to get a food scale that measures in grams. As you get slimmer the accuracy of your logging becomes critical.
