I am looking to add in ab work 2x a week to my heavy lifting program....any advice on what would be most effective?

I am replying to follow. I just do hanging leg raises and weighted crunches because that's what's in Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 program. I have stronger abs. I still need to lose another 5-6 lbs of fat to see them, though.

cable crunches, reverse weighted crunches, different versions of planks. you can also do a weighted version of planks.
If you are using your core during all lifts, you won't need much additional work.

Thanks everyone , I have seen so much improvement in my ab area and core from heavy lifting for the last couple month but after two kids I figure 2x a week of some extra work cannot hurt !!
