Hi guys,
I'm Sandra and I'm from Romania. I just signed up on myfitnesspal and I plan on changing my life once and for all. I wish to offer all the support I can to everyone and hope to get some from you as well.
The story of my life is that I've always been chubby. I managed many times to lose wight (never actually reached my goal weight, but I was close enough, just 11 pounds away). During the last few years my weight was almos always at around 170 lbs, but every summer I lose about 22 pounds. So I had a normal weight but I didn't feel good about myself and I've always wanted to be 130 lbs.
Unfortunately, this year, things changed. I "woke up" after this winter having 205 lbs. I can't believe I'm in the 200, that I'm obese and honestly, it's not all about the scale, it's simply that I feel awful about myself.
I hate going out, even if it's for 5 minutes to grab something from the supermarket. I always feel like people are staring, that they're judging me. I'm 22 years old and I have cellulite showing all over my body. I never thought I'd get here...
Anyways, this is the first step I'm taking towards a new and healthy life.
See you guys around!

Well done. I'm proud that you've come here. MFP is a really good tool to help you lose the weight and feel much better about yourself. Do remember that even if you don't reach your goal weight, a healthy lifestyle will always sort your body out and make you fitter and happier.0

"Let me count the ways" (Shakespeare) that walking is so good for you:
Walking is one of the best exercises around, so remember that you are helping yourself when you leave your house for those walks.
If you want to walk early in the morning at first, that is as good a time as any.
The nice thing is that you can walk anytime, day or night.
Walking builds muscles, uses calories, exposes you to sunlight, which gives you a dose of Vitamin D for the day.
Remember to drink plenty of water and other non-sodium drinks each day, to flush out the digestive wastes and toxins.
Try for lots of fruits and/or green and orange and yellow vegetables; keep fats to about 20% of your diet.
These tips have worked for me. Best of success in your new way of living. Hugs, :drinker:0
