I like doing Leslie Sansone. It's a great indoor walk. Much more intense then a regular walk. (She compares it to aerobics.) You can find her on YouTube.

There is also Fitness Blender. You can select what areas you want to work out, what (if any) equipment you have, the level you want to do, and it gives you several different options you can.

YouTube is also full of different workout videos you can. Lots of things can be found on line for indoor workouts when you can't afford a gym membership.

I put on a jacket and a scarf and go out anyways.

I go to the gym. I also can't handle extreme heat so the gym works. I live in Iowa so we have a few months a year that I can walk outside.

I like to look up dance workout, kickboxing or HIIT videos on Youtube.
Also a big fan of Just Dance and Zumba games on Wii.

alternate between these four exercises - jumping bodyweight squats, burpees, press ups, jumping lunges

You recommend this for someone who "just started exercising"?!

OP, like a previous poster, I also like Leslie Sansone walking routines or other YouTube exercise videos. You could also check out nerdfitness.com for a relatively easy bodyweight circuit (I can't yet do as many reps as suggested, but I still feel like I've worked hard!). I've heard that fitnessblender.com and hasfit.com have some good workouts, too.

I run outside year round, including in the snow. I also bike year round, but for transportation purposes and not exercise. You just need to dress appropriately for the whether. Otherwise, I take classes (mainly yoga, spinning, pilates, barre, and TRX). I don't exercise at home other than some minimal strength training. There are plenty of DVDs and free videos if you want to workout at home, but need something more structured than just doing exercises on your own.
