Has anyone ever set their current weight at their goal weight and then put the setting to maintenance? If so, how do you handle exercise calories?

I would assume the same way. The program doesn't account for exercise in the initial calculation, so you would add it manually.

If you eat it back or not is up to you. But make sure to adjust the burn downwards as the MFP listings can be inflated.

I'm very close to switching to maintenance, and I have tried setting it at maintenance and just eating a little under each day. But I ended up eating either a) to my old goal or b) to maintenance because I "had" the extra calories. Not the end of the world, but it was an interesting exercise. Mind you, changing your goal weight wouldn't make much difference. I like seeing how much i've lose overall and you don't see that if you are at your goal weight so I wouldn't do it personally.

As far as exercise calories, I don't count exercise calories at all - but this is mainly as I have semi regular "cheat" days/meals and not logging the (small) amount of exercise I do, just offsets those. If I did count exercise calories, i'd handle them the same way I used to when I did - eating roughly %50 back.
