Hello! I'm a 29 year old freelance writer with a 100+ goal to reach, more or less. I'm more interested in getting my body fat percentage down to at least 25% than the actual number of pounds, but I'm currently 246 lbs, so I figure 140 is a safe goal to at least start from.
As a writer, I spend a great deal of my time sedentary if I don't purposefully drag myself out the door every now and then, but I'm trying to make a habit of exercising at least a few minutes every hour I can spare. I would love any new friends on here, regardless of what your fitness or diet goals are. We can help motivate each other and share tips/recipes!

I found starting out with smaller goals made the loss easier. It's easy to get daunted if you're looking at a 100 pound loss goal. 10 pounds was a doable 'mini-goal' for me. Welcome to MFP!0
