Trying to lose inches off waist to join the Army

Well first off let me thank you for taking the time to read this. But as of now in Army standards I'm at 28% bodyfat. I need to be at 24%. Loosing about 2.5 inches off my waist would get me to the 24%. I've been doing more cardio related workouts twice a day. I've cleaned up my eating. But I'm pretty sure that's still the problem. And I have no clue how to properly start a diet. So any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would say you don't "start a diet". Don't think of it as a diet. You need to think of it as eating healther, and watching calorie intake. If you set up your stats in MFP, the number you get is the number of calories you should eat to lose the number of lbs you want to lose per week.0

I'm trying to lose weight to join the military too, but have way more body fat to lose. Good to see others who have the same goals!0
