Maintain weight but lose inches?

Can I eat at my maintain weight goal and still tighten this tummy? I'm super anxious about upping my intake seeing as I still feel like I have a tiny amount of fat kicking around in my stomach area. I want it to flatten out but on my one off day from the gym (without my workout calories) I have a hard time staying in my deficit. Is it still possible to tone up? Wondering about your experiences personally with adding calories but keeping up with your workouts.

Sounds like your talking about recomp. Yes it's possible, but it is a slow process. I am actually just switching to recomp today.

Strength training really helps the stomach area to flatten down0 -
Just remember that your abs take the most time to develop during recomp. It is not something you will see overnight. Stay patient and dilligent to your meal and workout routine. You will surely see results.1

This sounds like something I need to look into. I haven't heard of recomp before, but I'm at a healthy weight, just want to tone up. I don't really need to lose weight, and don't really want to gain much either. Thanks for the thread0
