Introduction

I'm fairly new to MyFitness Pal. Used it off/on for a year or two. Now, I have decided that I need to get my weight under control and apply some discipline to drop 40-50 lbs and keep it off. I think this app will help as long as I'm consistent in recording my exercise and food intake.

    Good luck. I lost 50 pounds a couple of years ago with the app - unfortunately, I put a lot of it back on - time to start again.

    I've been retired from the military for 9 years now. Consequently, I've experienced the same yo yo effect...lost 30-40 lbs and then failed to maintain... Hope to break the cycle!
