Hello everyone! I joined this site back in January but really hated calorie counting, so I never logged back in. I have a dress to fit into for my sister's wedding in November that I bought two sizes too small ( I could fit it, but i just couldn't breathe). I am currently doing another weight loss program, but the fact it doesn't show calories, sodium etc, I decided to do this with it, so I can see what I may need work on. i have an addiction to sugar (i need rehab I swear); I've tried certain tips to satiate those cravings to no avail. I can't wait to see the new me.

    Salleymo,

Great incentive on the dress and two sizes smaller. Where are you going to hang it so you can see it everyday? Don't hide it on a closet rack, hang it proud. Depending on your weight loss challenges, it is always a good motivator to see it a couple of times a day. But make sure you keep moving it around, so that you don't just start walking by it and not notice it anymore. I understand the calorie counting challenge, but it really does point out what you are doing, as it has really helped me. For example I though I was doing really well on limiting sugar intake in my foods, but the log showed me i was WAY off even though I was doing great on calories. Either way, The start of November is about 110ish days away (a very loose count), so you CAN achieve your goal to fit in that dress for the wedding! Heck, you might even have to get it taken in some because of how well you do starting this early! Feel free to add me as a friend if you so choose, we all need different motivation in life.
