3-DAY Diet

So I am curious to see if anyone has tried this and either had success or found that it was horrible. I want a way to cleanse and get motivated to lose my weight since I can't seem to kick my butt into gear lol!!

    is this the one where you eat specific foods in a certain order? beets, icecream ?

    If so this is a diet given to patients who are undergoing a heart surgery. It is used to reduce the edema around, and the swelling of the internal organs so the surgeon has a clearer view.

    I did not know this and did this diet 18 yrs ago. I lost weight alright, 10 pounds........and spent 8 hrs in the ER getting IV fluids pushed and chewed out by the nurses and doctors in the ER.

    Slow and steady wins the race my friend! Keep logging, walking, parking far away at the mall......before you know it you will have lost 10 HEALTHY pounds!!

    As a general rule, anything that says QUICK or CLEANSE is bad for you and although may provide some immediate weight loss (Probably water) you will not keep it off once you get back to normal food intake.

    There is nothing quick about weight loss Unfortunately. 1 to 3 pounds a week is the healthy way and although it seems slow...it adds up quick.

    Also, I am sure others will disagree with me there is no reason to "cleanse". Your body does that naturally when you eat right and consume the right amount of water. Cleanse diets are another way to separate us dieters from our money.
