Using spreadsheet to track success.

I began a spreadsheet 3 years ago tracking weight, BMI, body fat and various other stats. It has helped me see where I've come from and at times where I've fallen back into bad habits. Does anyone else use this to track your progress? If you don't and would like to find out how to start, let me know.

I love Excel! I use it all the time to track my progress, and even as a motivational tool.

I've also done an experiment to see if 3500 calories actually equals 1 pound, all in excel.

I set mine up to record every day. I post calories eaten and burned from MFP. At the beginning of the month I check my body fat using a device in our hospital's physical therapy office. I use that to calculate lean body mass and use that number for the month to calculate body fat.
It anticipates future days to lose .4 lbs per day until I reach my goal.0
