Welcome, and good luck on your journey to a better you. Couple pieces of advice to hopefully help you avoid discouragement and frustration. Number one, buy a food scale, it is the best 10 bucks I have ever spent, get a digital one and weigh everything you eat. Number two, set a realistic goal for you losses.
75+ to lose - 2 lbs week
75-50- 1.5lbs
50-20ish- 1lb
Less than 20 1/2 a week is reasonable.
Those numbers may seem low esp if you only want to lose a few pounds, but trust me it is better to be reasonable than to burnout. Don't get obsessed with a specific number, pay attention to how your clothes fit and how you feel. If you have less than 10 pounds to lose research body recomposition, I know people that look better and are at a smaller clothing size without losing a pound, some even gained.0
